We hired Eric to do a full kitchen remodel as well as a whole house refresh/re-design with new flooring, lighting, paint, and decorative elements. We could not have made a better choice. It felt like he was remodeling his own house with the level of detail and attention he paid during the entire process. He communicated every day to update us on progress and schedule, and any issues or questions that arose. He has a long standing relationship with all of his subcontractors, and pays meticulous attention to their work as well as his own. On the rare nights that we would have concerns over how certain work looked, by the time we could talk to Eric in the morning, he had already noticed it and was having it taken care of. When drainage issues prevented us from installing the downdraft system that I had my heart set on, Eric helped us come up with a solution that would allow for ample venting without having a huge range hood over our island. He even built a custom cabinet around the hood to allow it to blend seamlessly into our new cabinetry, resulting in a professional looking kitchen that turned out better than our original idea. As I said, he treated our house remodel as though it were his own, and his suggestions and pain staking detail allowed us to truly have the kitchen and home of our dreams. He set an aggressive timeline and was able to meet that deadline without sacrificing quality in any way. There was never a day (other than most weekends) that he and his crew were not working, and they were able to finish our project in 2.5 months. He also came in on budget with no surprises (other than the extras we sprung on him mid-project) The next phase in our remodel is a major renovation of our master bath, and I can t imagine hiring anyone else.

We are a family of four and we had just purchased a 4500 square foot home in San Diego' s North County that required some significant remodeling and updates. However, we were still living in Boston, MA and were hoping to have the home remodeling done before our West Coast move in about a month. This was a daunting undertaking, given our being across the country, not knowing North County contractors, and our tight timeframe to complete the work. Then we met Eric, who was referred to us by our trusted realtor. Not only was Eric a terrific cross-country communicator (text, email, phone), but he brought an exceptional level of detail-orientation and workmanship to the project. Bottom line, we absolutely LOVE the work that he and his team completed, and we are now living in what we consider our dream home. To provide more detail about the remodeling, we had Eric and his team help us with the following numerous projects: painting all interior walls; installing engineered wood flooring throughout the majority of the house; a complete master bathroom remodel down to the studs, including new tile flooring, new soaking tub, and new shower; new sections of exterior fencing, new garden gates, and a new balcony railing; repainting all kitchen cabinets, media cabinet, and upstairs bathroom vanities, including new cabinet hardware; installation of a new furnace and Nest thermostats; interior and exterior electrical updates, plus the installation of numerous lighting fixtures and ceiling fans; and assembly and installation of wall-to-wall bookcases. In sum, we can' t fully express our gratitude for Eric. He is exceptional at what he does. He clearly loves what he does, and he does it so well. We recommend him without reservation. You will not be disappointed; on the contrary, you'll end up living in your forever home.

ECS Construction provided services for a first floor remodel including a brand new kitchen, family room, half bath, updated entryway, and minor updates to living room and dining room. Also added a covered patio and 2nd floor balcony off master bedroom and office. ECS Construction exceeded our expectations. We received high quality service from the owner and subcontractors. Amazing attention to detail and incredibly responsive. The owner kept an open line of communication at all times, and he and his team worked hard to not only complete the work on time but also make sure the renovation went as smoothly as possible. Remodels are stressful! The owner was easy to talk to, fair, reasonable, and never lost his cool. The finished product was everything we hoped for and much more. Price wise, I would rate ECS as somewhere in the middle...not the most expense or the cheapest. But the cost was well worth it in the end. We are very proud of our new kitchen, balcony and first floor remodel and plan to use ECS in the future for our second floor guest bathroom and landscaping projects.

From beginning to end, this company was very pleasurable to work with. We remodeled two bathrooms at the same time, and they both turned out great. The quality of the workmanship for the price paid was impressive. Integrity and trust are everything in this business, and ECS delivered both throughout the entire process. We hired ECS and we are so glad we did! Originally we had a start date and had some family emergencies so we had to travel for awhile and Eric was amazing to work with us when we d be back in town to make sure our plans were perfect! When we started him and his crew were so fast! His contractors are awesome, always showing up and on time, so skilled, and hard working. We hired ECS construction for a complete home remodel, interior and exterior. The project took 8 months to complete, and It is absolutely Amazing!!! Eric is a true professional! He was consistently concerned about details and that the work was done the right way. He always patient and cheerful and very easy to work with. We could not have hired a better contractor.
